I came across this bar by accident and what a find!!
Great atmosphere fun staff ( hot waitress') and if your are nice to the bar tender he will even play your favourite songs! I have now become a semi-regular at this bar and would gladly recommend you try it once - i bet you will go back again like i did!

There's a lot of pub options in Boston. But if you're in the area where Emmet's is, I can recommend stopping in for a pint or some food.We spent St. Patrick's Day in Boston this year. We wanted to celebrate at a pub, but found most were charging $20 a person just to get in. We were ambling back to our hotel (the Omni Parker) when we decided to give Emmet's a try. It was just up the street, away from the crowds of Faneuil Hall.Not only was there no cover, but the pints were served up fast and friendly. The crowd was great and the owner was on-hand making sure everyone was having a good time.We ended up going back to Emmet's for breakfast the following Sunday. The food was great and, again, the service was excellent. Family-friendly for sure.

I can highly recommend Emmet's.

Just down the street from the State House, easy waslking distance from the Common, this place is a standard Irish Pub, but with more than the standard fare! Beer selection was decent, and prices good for the city. Menu had all the Irish basics--fish n chips, clam chowder etc. (which btw was very good!) plus several burger choices, and buffalo chicken nachos!!! They were extremely good, and extremely spicy! If I ordered them again, i'd ask for less sauce on the nachos, and to bring it on the side instead b/c the bottom was completely drenched. The majority of the waitstaff were Irish in birth and accent, which of course automatically makes for good pub atmosphere in Boston! I would certainly go back here again!

The Holy Grail Of Irish Pubs

This has to be one of the best Irish bars in boston, the staff are really frendly. The attmosphere is so good not like some of the other bars in the area. I have been going there for about 6 months and each time I go there my friends we allways have a good time,the food is great the drinks are reasonably priced and the people that hang out there are cool. This is definetly my home away from home.

Pleasant Surprise

Emmets did very well by our group. The atmosphere is fun and inviting and the service was pleasantly enthusiastic. Good reviews on the burgers and the beer list. If you're in the neighborhood stop by Emmets.

Good fun Bar!

Considering I'm an Irish girl I was expecting this bar to be the usual american idea of what an Irish bar should be.. I was very pleasantly surprised! The atmosphere was excellent, food was great and servers very friendly and helpful. The big irish bartender was SOOOOO much fun - free entertainment with your pint! You gotta try this place.. 10 outa 10 guys!
